Here's how to steer with a thumbstick in PadForge, for driving games when you have no wheel. You're hearing a generated voice.

Open the controller, and go to the Sticks tab. Each stick has a Steering section.

Steering Mode starts on Off, which keeps it a normal stick. Pick Winding.

Now turning the stick around winds a virtual wheel. Wind Range is the travel from lock to lock: 900 degrees, two and a half turns.

Ease off the stick, and the wheel unwinds toward center, at the Unwind Rate.

Angle to Axis is the other mode. The stick's angle maps straight to one axis, and letting go drops it to center.

With the pad in hand, turn the stick in circles to steer.
