Here's how to put a second layout on one controller with a shift layer, and a ring of commands on a stick with a radial menu. You're hearing a generated voice. On the controller's Mappings tab, click Shift Layer. Name the layer, then pick what turns it on. Here, it's the left shoulder. Hold keeps the layer on while you hold the button. Tick Inherit Unmapped Targets, so every button you leave alone keeps its usual job. Then save. The layer gets its own tab above the grid. A row you bind on it works only while the layer is on. Now the Menus tab. Click Add. The new menu is a radial ring on the right stick, with four cells. Give each cell a label and a binding. This one says Map. Open its binding list, and choose Controller Button. Then pick the button it presses: Back. With the pad in hand, hold the left shoulder for the layer, and push the right stick to open the menu. Point at a cell, and click the stick to fire it. Find more guides at padforge.org.
